Syrup
Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting (e.g., due to gastroenteritis, food poisoning, motion sickness, post-operative states, or medicine-induced vomiting) as advised by a doctor.
Antiemetic medicines work by blocking chemical signals (such as serotonin or dopamine) involved in triggering the vomiting reflex in the brain and gut. This helps reduce the feeling of nausea and prevents vomiting.
Oral syrup. Shake well before use and measure with a dosing cup/spoon. Take the dose and frequency as prescribed by a doctor; may be taken with or without food. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Headache, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, dry mouth
Use only on medical advice, especially in children. May cause drowsiness—avoid driving or operating machinery if affected. Use with caution in liver disease, heart rhythm problems (QT prolongation), electrolyte imbalance, and in patients taking other QT-prolonging medicines. Seek urgent care for severe allergy, fainting, palpitations, severe abdominal pain, or persistent vomiting/dehydration.
Alcohol and other CNS depressants (increased drowsiness), QT-prolonging drugs (e.g., certain antibiotics/antipsychotics/antiarrhythmics), serotonergic medicines (risk of serotonin syndrome with some antiemetics), strong CYP3A4 inhibitors/inducers depending on the active ingredient
Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep tightly closed and out of reach of children.
