Neoactive B9 Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is used for prevention, treatment of folate (vitamin B9) deficiency, used in megaloblastic anemia due to folate deficiency and as supplementation in increased folate requirements (as advised by doctor). It belongs to the group of medicines called Folate (Vitamin B9).
Tablet for oral use. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Neoactive B9 Tablet are nausea, abdominal discomfort, loss of appetite and bloating. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Neoactive B9 Tablet works.

Most side effects of Neoactive B9 are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
Tablet for oral use. Take as directed by your physician; may be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water; try to take at the same time each day.
Vitamin B9 (folate) is required for DNA synthesis and normal red blood cell formation. Supplementation replenishes folate stores, helping correct folate-deficiency anemia and supporting normal cell division and growth.
Do not self-treat anemia without medical advice as folate can mask vitamin B12 deficiency and delay diagnosis, potentially worsening nerve damage. Use with caution in patients with undiagnosed anemia, seizure disorders (if on antiepileptics), or history of allergy to folate preparations. Seek medical help for signs of hypersensitivity (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty).
