Nunac Gel

Nunac Gel contains Menthol (5%w/w) + Linseed Oil (3%w/w) + Methyl Salicylate (10%w/w) + Diclofenac diethylamine (1.16%w/w) and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.

This medicine is used in the treatment of muscle pain, joint pain, sprains and strains and backache.

Nunac Gel is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac diethylamine, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate and Menthol. Diclofenac diethylamine and Menthol are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Linseed Oil is a plant-based oil which further reduces inflammation and improves blood circulation at the site of application. It also increases the penetration of Diclofenac diethylamine through the skin. Methyl Salicylate produces a cooling effect on the skin.

Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer and rub it in gently. Wash your hands before and after use, unless your hands are the area being treated. This is for use on the skin only — do not swallow it. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Burning or stinging, Redness, Skin irritation, Rash

For external use only. Keep it away from the eyes, mouth and broken skin. Do not apply a heating pad or hot water bottle over the treated area — this can cause a burn. Do not bandage tightly over it unless your doctor has told you to. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying, unless your hands are the area being treated. Stop if the skin becomes severely irritated or blisters.

Topical anti-inflammatory gels add to the effect of the same medicine taken by mouth; tell your doctor if you use both.

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Close the cap tightly after each use. Keep out of the reach of children.
