Gel
Relief of pain, inflammation and soreness in the mouth; mouth ulcers (aphthous ulcers), gingivitis, stomatitis, denture/brace-related mouth irritation, sore gums
Choline salicylate is an NSAID that reduces local pain and inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that blocks nerve conduction (sodium channels), providing quick numbness and pain relief at the application site.
For topical use inside the mouth only. Apply a small amount to the affected area with a clean finger/cotton bud and gently massage. Use 2–3 times daily or as directed by a doctor; preferably after meals and at bedtime. Avoid eating/drinking for 20–30 minutes after application.
Temporary burning or stinging, numbness/tingling, taste alteration, local irritation or redness, dry mouth, allergic reaction (rash/swelling)
Do not use if allergic to salicylates/aspirin, lidocaine or other local anesthetics. Avoid applying to large areas or using excessively; may increase systemic absorption. Use with caution in children and in patients with bleeding disorders, on anticoagulants, or with severe liver disease. Stop use and seek medical help if ulcer persists >7 days, worsens, or if signs of allergy occur. Do not apply to open deep wounds; avoid contact with eyes.
Anticoagulants/antiplatelets (e.g., warfarin, clopidogrel) may increase bleeding risk with salicylate exposure; other NSAIDs/salicylates; methotrexate (theoretical increase in toxicity); antiarrhythmics/beta-blockers (theoretical additive effects with local anesthetic if significant absorption)
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep the tube tightly closed, protect from heat and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
