Constipation (occasional or chronic), stool softening in hard stools; may be used for bowel regulation as advised by a doctor

Polyethylene glycol 3350 is an osmotic laxative that retains water in the stool. This increases stool water content, softens stools and promotes bowel movements with less straining.

Oral powder to be dissolved in water/juice and taken as directed by physician or as per label. Commonly taken once daily; can be taken with or without food. Ensure adequate fluid intake; do not take the dry powder directly.

Bloating, abdominal discomfort/cramps, nausea, flatulence, diarrhoea, loose stools

Do not use in suspected/known bowel obstruction, severe abdominal pain, vomiting, or if you have inflammatory bowel disease unless advised by a doctor. Stop and seek medical help if severe diarrhoea, rectal bleeding, persistent/worsening abdominal pain, or no improvement after several days. Use with caution in kidney disease, electrolyte imbalance, dehydration, and in elderly; prolonged use should be under medical supervision.

Other oral medicines (separate by at least 2 hours as it may affect absorption), diuretics or medicines affecting electrolytes (risk of imbalance with diarrhoea), other laxatives (increased diarrhoea)

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), in a tightly closed container/pack, protected from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
