Peredom Tablet

Peredom Tablet contains Domperidone + Paracetamol and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.

This medicine is used in the treatment of nausea, vomiting, bloating, slow stomach emptying, fever, headache, body ache and mild to moderate pain.

This medicine combines 2 active ingredients: Domperidone and Paracetamol. Domperidone settles the stomach and blocks the signals that trigger nausea and vomiting, and helps the stomach empty at a normal rate. Paracetamol reduces fever and relieves pain by acting on the parts of the brain that regulate temperature and register pain.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it 15 to 30 minutes before meals. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Use it for the shortest period that works. These medicines are not intended for long-term daily use. Report any unusual muscle stiffness, tremor, restlessness or uncontrolled movements of the face or limbs at once — stop and contact your doctor. Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm problem; some of this group affect the heart's electrical timing. Persistent vomiting needs a diagnosis. Do not keep suppressing it without seeing a doctor, especially with abdominal pain, fever or blood. Never exceed the daily maximum printed on the pack. Paracetamol overdose damages the liver, and the damage can be silent for a day or two before it becomes serious. Check every other medicine you are taking. Paracetamol is in a very large number of cold, flu and pain combinations, and the doses add together. If you drink alcohol regularly, or have liver disease, ask your doctor what daily limit is safe for you. See a doctor if fever lasts more than three days, or pain more than five.

Antifungals, some antibiotics and heart-rhythm medicines increase the risk of rhythm problems when combined. Adds to the drowsiness of alcohol and sedatives. Regular alcohol use increases the risk of liver injury. Tell your doctor if you are on warfarin — regular high-dose paracetamol can affect it.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
