Photoban Teen Sunscreen Gel is a medicine. It is used for helps protect teen skin from harmful UVA, UVB rays, helps prevent sunburn, tanning and and photoaging due to sun exposure. It belongs to the group of medicines called Topical sunscreen (UV filters).
For external use only. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Photoban Teen Sunscreen Gel are mild burning or stinging, redness, itching and dryness. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Photoban Teen Sunscreen Gel works.

Most side effects of Photoban Teen Sunscreen are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
For external use only. Apply generously and evenly on face/neck and other exposed areas 15–20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2–3 hours and after swimming, sweating, or towel-drying. Avoid contact with eyes and broken/irritated skin.
Sunscreen filters form a protective film on the skin that absorbs, reflects, or scatters ultraviolet (UVA/UVB) radiation. This reduces UV-induced skin damage such as sunburn, pigmentation, and long-term photoaging.
Patch test if you have sensitive skin. Stop use and consult a doctor if rash, swelling, or persistent irritation occurs. Avoid direct contact with eyes; rinse with water if it happens. Not a substitute for protective clothing; limit midday sun exposure. Keep out of reach of children.
No significant drug interactions expected with topical sunscreen use; if using topical acne medicines (retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, acids) irritation may increase.
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep cap tightly closed to protect from moisture contamination.
