Poliexar 2 mg Capsule contains Polmacoxib (2mg) and is used for osteoarthritis of knee and hip joints. Prescription required.

Treatment of Osteoarthritis of knee and hip joints

Poliexar Capsule suppresses the production of proinflammatory substances (prostaglandins) by inhibiting certain enzymes involved in inflammation. This results in a reduction in inflammation-associated symptoms like pain, stiffness, or redness.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Poliexar Capsule should be taken with or after food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Use with caution in patients with known allergies to polidocanol or other sclerosing agents. Not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical advice.

May interact with anticoagulants and other medications affecting blood clotting.
