Tablet
Neuropathic pain (e.g., diabetic peripheral neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia), nerve pain associated with vitamin B12 deficiency, adjunct in neuropathic symptoms like tingling, burning and numbness
Pregabalin binds to the alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the CNS, reducing release of pain-signaling neurotransmitters and relieving neuropathic pain. Methylcobalamin is an active form of vitamin B12 that supports myelin sheath repair and nerve regeneration, helping improve neuropathic symptoms.
Take by mouth as prescribed by the doctor, preferably at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow tablet whole with water. Do not stop suddenly—dose should be tapered as advised.
Dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, blurred vision, dry mouth, peripheral edema (swelling), weight gain, constipation, difficulty concentrating
May cause dizziness and sleepiness—avoid driving/operating machinery until you know the effect. Do not stop abruptly (withdrawal symptoms may occur). Use with caution in kidney disease (dose adjustment may be needed) and in elderly (higher risk of falls). Seek urgent help if facial swelling, rash, breathing difficulty (allergy/angioedema), mood changes, depression or suicidal thoughts occur. Use caution in patients with heart failure (can worsen edema).
Alcohol (increases drowsiness), opioids (e.g., tramadol, morphine) and benzodiazepines (increased sedation/respiratory depression risk), other CNS depressants, antihistamines/sedatives, medicines that cause edema (e.g., thiazolidinediones like pioglitazone)
Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep in original blister and out of reach of children.
