Fluticasone is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation and swelling. Salmeterol is a long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA) that relaxes bronchial smooth muscle to keep airways open for up to 12 hours. Together they improve breathing and reduce flare-ups when used regularly.

Fluticasone is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation and swelling. Salmeterol is a long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA) that relaxes bronchial smooth muscle to keep airways open for up to 12 hours. Together they improve breathing and reduce flare-ups when used regularly.
For inhalation use only via Accuhaler/DPI. Use exactly as prescribed, usually 1 inhalation twice daily (morning and evening). Use regularly even when symptom-free; not for sudden breathlessness—keep a reliever inhaler (e.g., salbutamol). Rinse mouth and spit after each use to reduce risk of oral thrush.

Not for acute asthma/COPD attacks. Do not stop abruptly; step-down only on medical advice. Risk of pneumonia in COPD, and oral candidiasis—rinse mouth after use. Use with caution in heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, seizures, and in patients with low potassium. Seek urgent care if breathing worsens immediately after use (paradoxical bronchospasm). Long-term high-dose inhaled steroids may cause adrenal suppression, reduced bone mineral density, cataract/glaucoma—monitor if prolonged use.
Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ritonavir, cobicistat, ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin) may increase systemic fluticasone/salmeterol effects; beta-blockers may reduce bronchodilation; other sympathomimetics increase cardiovascular effects; diuretics/xanthines/corticosteroids may increase risk of hypokalemia; MAO inhibitors/TCAs may potentiate beta-agonist effects.
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place; protect from moisture and direct heat. Keep device closed when not in use. Keep out of reach of children.
