Probiotic supplement used to help restore and maintain healthy gut flora; may be used as an adjunct in diarrhoea (including antibiotic-associated), indigestion, bloating and gastrointestinal upset.

Probiotics are beneficial microorganisms that help restore the balance of intestinal flora. They inhibit growth of harmful bacteria, improve gut barrier function and support digestion and immunity.

Oral suspension/drops: Shake well before use. Use the measured drops as advised by the doctor; it may be given with or after food. Can be mixed with water/milk at room temperature; do not mix with hot liquids. If taking antibiotics, keep a gap of about 2 hours.

Bloating, flatulence, mild abdominal discomfort, nausea, constipation, diarrhoea

Use with caution in patients with severe illness, immunocompromised states, critical illness, central venous catheter, or short bowel syndrome due to rare risk of infection. Stop and seek medical advice if fever, persistent vomiting/diarrhoea, blood in stools, or allergic symptoms occur. In elderly/senior patients with multiple comorbidities, use under medical supervision.

Antibiotics (may reduce probiotic effect—separate dosing), antifungals (may affect yeast-based probiotics), immunosuppressants (caution)

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and moisture. Keep bottle tightly closed. Follow label instructions for refrigeration after opening if mentioned; keep out of reach of children.
