Tenvir 300 mg Tablet

Tenvir 300 mg Tablet contains Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (300mg) and is used for hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. Prescription required.

Tenvir Tablet is an antiviral medication. It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tenvir Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Antivirals work best when started early — within the first day or two of symptoms for most infections. Complete the course exactly as prescribed; stopping early can allow the virus to become resistant. Drink plenty of water, particularly with aciclovir and its relatives. Treatment for chronic hepatitis must never be stopped without your specialist's advice.

Several antivirals interact with other medicines — tell your doctor everything you take, including supplements.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
