Timebond 100 Dry Syrup contains Cefpodoxime Proxetil (100mg/5ml) and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.

This medicine is used in the treatment of bacterial infection, chest infection, urinary infection, ear and throat infection and typhoid.

Cefpodoxime kills the bacteria causing your infection by destroying the cell wall that holds them together.

Shake well before use. Measure the dose with a calibrated spoon/cup as advised by the doctor. Can be given with or without food; if stomach upset occurs, give after food. Complete the full course if prescribed as an antibiotic.

Use only on a pediatrician/physician’s advice. Do not use if allergic to any ingredient. If rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, severe diarrhea, or persistent vomiting occurs, seek medical help. In kidney/liver disease, dose adjustment may be needed depending on the active ingredient.

Antacids, iron and zinc reduce absorption — separate them by a couple of hours. Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner.

Store at room temperature below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. If it is a dry syrup to be reconstituted, prepare with boiled and cooled water up to the mark and store as per label (often refrigerated); discard any unused portion after the period mentioned on the pack.
