Tolifast SR 450 mg Tablet contains Tolperisone (450mg). Prescription required.

Relief of painful muscle spasm and increased muscle tone in acute musculoskeletal conditions (e.g., back/neck pain, sprains/strains), adjunct in spasticity management as advised by physician.

Tolperisone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant that reduces reflex muscle spasm. It stabilizes nerve membranes and inhibits abnormal nerve signal transmission in spinal pathways, leading to muscle relaxation and pain relief without significant sedation in many patients.

Tablet (SR) to be taken exactly as prescribed. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Usually taken after food to reduce stomach upset; take at the same time each day.

Use with caution in liver or kidney impairment; dose adjustment/monitoring may be needed. May cause dizziness or drowsiness—avoid driving/operating machinery if affected. Stop and seek medical help if allergic reactions occur (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty). Not recommended for children unless prescribed. Inform doctor if you have myasthenia gravis or severe hypotension.

Alcohol and other CNS depressants (increased dizziness/drowsiness), antihypertensives (additive low blood pressure), sedatives/anxiolytics, opioids, muscle relaxants, NSAIDs (generally compatible but follow doctor advice).

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
