Management of inflammatory and itchy skin conditions (steroid-responsive dermatoses) such as eczema/dermatitis and psoriasis (as prescribed).

Topical corticosteroids reduce inflammation in the skin by suppressing release of inflammatory mediators. This decreases redness, swelling and itching.

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to the affected skin as directed by the doctor, usually 1–2 times daily. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin; wash hands after application unless hands are treated.

Burning or stinging, itching, dryness, redness, skin irritation, thinning of skin (with prolonged use), acneiform eruptions

Use only on the affected area for the shortest duration advised. Do not use on face/groin/armpits unless prescribed; avoid occlusive dressings unless advised. Prolonged or excessive use can cause skin thinning, stretch marks or systemic steroid effects, especially in children. Do not use on untreated bacterial/fungal/viral skin infections; seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or infection develops.

Other topical medicines on the same area (may increase irritation/absorption), occlusive dressings (increase absorption), potent topical steroids or systemic corticosteroids (additive effects)

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep cap tightly closed and out of reach of children.
