Torstan 10 Tablet

Torstan 10 Tablet contains Torsemide (10mg) and is used for torstan 10 Tablet is used. Prescription required.

Torstan 10 Tablet is used in the treatment of oedema and high blood pressure. It treats oedema (fluid overload) associated with heart, liver, kidney or lung disease.

Torstan 10 Tablet is a diuretic. It removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. In doing so, it causes potassium loss.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Torstan 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Passing urine more often, Dizziness on standing up, Low potassium or sodium, Muscle cramps, Raised uric acid, Thirst

Take it in the morning so that passing urine does not disturb your sleep. Your doctor will check your salts and kidney function with blood tests — do not skip them. Report muscle cramps, marked weakness, confusion or an irregular heartbeat; these can be signs your potassium or sodium has fallen. In hot weather or during an illness with vomiting or loose motions, tell your doctor — you may become dehydrated quickly.

Anti-inflammatory painkillers blunt the effect and can strain the kidneys. Lithium and digoxin levels are affected; tell your doctor if you take either. Potassium-sparing types must not be combined with potassium supplements without supervision.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
