Relief of productive cough with chest congestion, acute/chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma/COPD-associated cough with mucus, wheezing with thick sputum

Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator (beta-2 agonist) that relaxes airway muscles and eases wheeze. Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that helps expel mucus by increasing respiratory tract fluid.

Oral syrup; shake well before use and measure with a cup/spoon. Take as prescribed by the doctor; may be taken with or without food (preferably after food if stomach upset occurs). Maintain adequate hydration; do not exceed the recommended dose.

Use with caution in heart disease, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, seizure disorders, and in patients prone to low potassium. Seek medical help if breathing worsens, severe palpitations/chest pain, allergic rash/swelling, or no improvement in 3–5 days. Not meant for dry (non-productive) cough unless prescribed. Use caution in children and elderly; dose should be age/weight appropriate.

Other beta-agonists, theophylline, corticosteroids and diuretics (may increase risk of low potassium), beta-blockers (may reduce effect), MAO inhibitors/tricyclic antidepressants (may increase cardiovascular effects), digoxin (risk of arrhythmia with hypokalemia)

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from light. Keep bottle tightly closed; do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
