Udiplus Tablet contains Silymarin (140mg) + Ursodeoxycholic Acid (300mg) and is used for liver disease. Prescription required.

Liver disease

Udiplus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Silymarin and Ursodeoxycholic Acid. They work by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals), thus preventing liver damage.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Udiplus Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

A liver supplement does not treat the cause of liver disease. Alcohol, weight, viral hepatitis and medicines are what have to be addressed. Stop alcohol completely if you have any liver condition. Report yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, swelling of the abdomen or confusion without delay. Keep your liver function tests and follow-up appointments.

Tell your doctor about every medicine and supplement you take — the liver processes most of them.
