Before you take it
Urifur 100 mg Tablet SR is probably safe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Urifur 100 mg Tablet SR should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Please consult your doctor.<br>Use of Urifur 100 mg Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease, who are unable to pass urine or have high creatinine levels.
Urifur 100 mg Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Urifur 100 mg Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>Use of Urifur 100 mg Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
Nausea Vomiting Diarrhea
Finish the whole course even after you feel better. Do not drink any alcohol while taking metronidazole, ornidazole or tinidazole, or for the period after the course that your doctor states — the combination causes severe flushing, vomiting and a racing heart. Report severe or watery loose motions during or after the course rather than treating them yourself. Tetracyclines stain developing teeth and are avoided in young children and in pregnancy. Antibiotics do not work against colds, flu or most sore throats, which are caused by viruses.
Antacids, iron, zinc and calcium reduce the absorption of tetracyclines — separate them by a couple of hours. Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner.
Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
