Uv Doux Sunscreen Gel 75 g is a medicine containing Octinoxate, Avobenzone, Oxybenzone, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide (exact strengths not specified on provided data). It is used for broad-spectrum sun protection to help prevent sunburn, tanning, helps protect against UVA, UVB-induced photoaging (dark spots, uneven tone), sun-induced skin damage and suitable for daily photoprotection.
For external use only. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Uv Doux Sunscreen Gel 75 g are mild burning or stinging, redness, itching and dryness. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Uv Doux Sunscreen Gel 75 g works.
Most side effects of Uv Doux Sunscreen are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
For external use only. Apply a generous, even layer on face/neck and other exposed areas 15–20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2–3 hours and after swimming, sweating, or towel-drying. Can be used daily; avoid contact with eyes and broken/irritated skin.
UV Doux Sunscreen Gel combines chemical UV filters (that absorb UV radiation) with physical/mineral filters (that reflect and scatter UV rays). Together they provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB to reduce sun-induced skin damage and pigmentation.
Patch test recommended for sensitive skin. Discontinue and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling, or allergic reaction occurs. Avoid contact with eyes; rinse thoroughly if contact occurs. Keep out of reach of children. External use only. Some chemical filters may irritate very sensitive or acne-prone skin; choose appropriately.
Apply it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for the next application, skip the missed one — applying extra does not make up for it.
An overdose of this medicine is unlikely from skin use; swallowing the preparation may cause stomach upset. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep cap tightly closed to protect from moisture/contamination.
