Relief of abdominal cramps and spasmodic pain (e.g., gastrointestinal/intestinal spasms), painful cramps with inflammation, colicky pain associated with smooth muscle spasm

Aceclofenac and paracetamol reduce pain and inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis (COX pathway). Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic antispasmodic that relaxes smooth muscles of the gut, reducing cramps and spasm.

Take orally as advised by doctor, usually after food with water. Do not exceed prescribed dose; use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Avoid taking with other paracetamol-containing products.

Prescription medicine. Avoid in allergy to NSAIDs/paracetamol/dicyclomine, active peptic ulcer or GI bleeding, severe liver or kidney disease, severe heart failure. NSAIDs can increase risk of stomach bleeding/ulcer and cardiovascular events; seek help for black stools, vomiting blood, chest pain or shortness of breath. Dicyclomine may cause drowsiness/blurred vision—avoid driving if affected; use caution in glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, urinary retention/prostatic enlargement, and intestinal obstruction. Use caution in elderly and in dehydration. Do not use multiple painkillers/NSAIDs together unless advised.
