Before you take it
Zotral 100 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Zotral 100 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Zotral 100 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Driving UNSAFE
Zotral 100 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Zotral 100 Tablet is recommended.<br>However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease as you may be given a smaller dose initially and then increased slowly as required.
Zotral 100 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zotral 100 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>Use of Zotral 100 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Zotral 100 Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms in depression and relieves symptoms of panic and obsessive disorders.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zotral 50 Tablet may be taken with or without food.
