Tablet
Prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency, adjunct in osteoporosis/osteopenia, support for bone health in elderly, post-menopausal women, and during periods of increased requirement.
Calcium supplementation helps maintain normal bone mineralization and supports muscle and nerve function. Vitamin D3 increases intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate, improving bone strength and correcting deficiency.
Take orally as directed by a physician, usually once daily after food. Swallow the tablet with water; do not exceed recommended dose. Maintain adequate hydration.
Constipation, bloating, gas, nausea, stomach upset, metallic taste
Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, kidney stones, hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis, or severe dehydration. Excess intake may cause high calcium levels (symptoms: nausea, vomiting, weakness, confusion, increased urination). Periodic monitoring of serum calcium/vitamin D may be needed if used long-term or at high doses.
Thiazide diuretics (risk of hypercalcemia), digoxin/cardiac glycosides (arrhythmia risk with hypercalcemia), tetracyclines and quinolones (reduced antibiotic absorption—separate by 2-6 hours), levothyroxine (reduced absorption—separate by 4 hours), bisphosphonates (separate dosing), corticosteroids (reduced calcium absorption), antiepileptics like phenytoin/carbamazepine (reduce vitamin D effect).
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
