Compare all substitutes
Same salt, different brand — what does that mean?

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Aceco-MR Tablet. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.

All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.

Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.

How Aceco-MR Tablet works

Aceco-P Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Paracetamol.\tThese medicines work by blocking the action of chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever and inflammation (redness and swelling).

How to take Aceco-MR Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aceco-P Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine can cause stomach bleeding, kidney failure, drowsiness and fits. It can cause severe and sometimes fatal liver damage, often with no symptoms at all for the first day. Warnings and precautions

Take it with or just after food, and for the shortest time that works. Stop and seek urgent care for black or tarry stools, vomiting blood, or severe stomach pain — this group can cause bleeding from the stomach. Long or high-dose use raises the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney injury, particularly in older people and those already at risk. Avoid if you are dehydrated or have an illness with vomiting or loose motions — the kidneys are vulnerable then. Must be avoided in the last three months of pregnancy. Never exceed the daily maximum printed on the pack. Paracetamol overdose damages the liver, and the damage can be silent for a day or two before it becomes serious. Check every other medicine you are taking. Paracetamol is in a very large number of cold, flu and pain combinations, and the doses add together. If you drink alcohol regularly, or have liver disease, ask your doctor what daily limit is safe for you. See a doctor if fever lasts more than three days, or pain more than five.

Do not take Aceco-MR if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with an active stomach ulcer, severe kidney or heart failure, or asthma triggered by aspirin or anti-inflammatory painkillers. Not in the third trimester of pregnancy. Not for people with severe liver disease, except under medical supervision.

Interactions with other medicines

Combining with a blood thinner or aspirin sharply raises the bleeding risk. Reduces the effect of blood pressure medicines and water tablets, and together with them can harm the kidneys. Never take two anti-inflammatory painkillers at the same time. Regular alcohol use increases the risk of liver injury. Tell your doctor if you are on warfarin — regular high-dose paracetamol can affect it.

How to store Aceco-MR Tablet

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
