Rabeprazole (20mg) + Aceclofenac (200mg)
Acendol-R Capsule SR is used for pain relief. It relieves pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and osteoarthritis. It also relieves tooth ache, lower back pain, ear and throat pain.
Acendol-R Capsule SR is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Rabeprazole, which relieves pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Rabeprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor which prevents damage to the stomach lining caused by Aceclofenac.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acendol-R Capsule SR is to be taken empty stomach.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Acendol R Cap. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
