Cetirizine is an antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors to reduce allergy symptoms like sneezing and runny nose. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that constricts blood vessels in nasal passages to reduce blockage. Paracetamol reduces fever and relieves pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system.

How to take Allercet Cold New Tablet

Take as directed by a physician. Generally taken orally with water, with or without food; preferably after food if stomach upset occurs. Do not exceed the recommended dose and avoid using multiple paracetamol-containing products together.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

It can cause severe and sometimes fatal liver damage, often with no symptoms at all for the first day. It can cause vomiting, severe drowsiness, a racing heart and, with codeine, dangerously slow breathing.
