Uses of Becort Lotion

Used for relief of inflammatory and itchy scalp/skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis (especially where a lotion is preferred).

How it works

Likely contains a topical corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness and itching by suppressing release of inflammatory mediators in the skin. This helps calm flare-ups and improves symptoms.

Directions for use

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area/scalp as directed by a doctor, usually 1–2 times daily. Use the minimum amount needed; wash hands after application; avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin unless advised.

Warnings & precautions

Stop and consult a doctor if infection, worsening redness, swelling, pus, or no improvement occurs. Use with caution in children (higher absorption). Do not apply to open wounds. If pregnant/breastfeeding, use only if prescribed; avoid applying on/near nipple before feeding.
