Cleansing of scalp and hair; helps maintain scalp hygiene and manage common scalp concerns such as dandruff/itching (if formulated with anti-dandruff actives).
Shampoo bases contain surfactants that emulsify oils, dirt and sweat from the hair and scalp so they can be rinsed away. Any added conditioning agents reduce friction and improve hair feel; any added anti-dandruff actives (if present) reduce flaking by acting on scalp factors such as fungus or keratin buildup.
Apply to wet hair and scalp, gently massage to form lather, leave for 1–3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed. Avoid contact with eyes; if it occurs, rinse with water. Use as directed on the label.
