Hair fall: a dermatologist reads your case and writes the plan

For people who have tried the hair tablets, the serum and the anti-dandruff shampoo and are still losing hair. Send photos of your scalp and tell us what you have used. A dermatologist tells you what kind of hair loss this is, what will work, and what to stop paying for.

Hair fall review: the plan

Man, 29. Thinning at the crown for 14 months. Hair tablets for 6 months, no change.

Sample

What the dermatologist found

  • Pattern hair loss, early. Crown and front both thinning, no scalp redness or scaling.
  • Father and uncle have the same pattern.
  • No illness, weight change or new medicine in the last year.

The plan

Start
Minoxidil 5% solution, 1 ml to the scalp twice a day.
Discuss
An oral option for pattern hair loss, after the side effects are explained.
Stop
The hair tablets. No deficiency was found; they are not helping.
Tests
None needed now.
Expect
More shedding in weeks 2 to 6, then regrowth from month 4.

Photos again at 12 weeks, same light, same angle.

A sample. The patient is fictional; your plan is written for your case.

Is this you?

Written for the person who has already spent on products and is not seeing a change.

The review is for you if

  • You have taken Follihair, Hairbless, biotin or another hair tablet for months and see no change.
  • You use minoxidil but nobody told you which strength, for how long, or what to expect.
  • Your parting is widening, or your hairline or crown is thinning.
  • Hair falls with dandruff or an itchy scalp.
  • A parent has the same pattern and you want to act early.

See a doctor in person instead if

  • A child under 12 with hair loss, which needs an in-person examination.
  • Sudden patches of hair loss with pain, pus or scarring of the scalp.
  • Hair loss with fever, unexplained weight change or a new rash, where the cause may not be the scalp at all.

How it works

Three minutes to start. The plan comes back in the chat, usually the same day.
  1. Step 1

Answer a few questions, add photos

Where, since when, what you have used. Then photos in good light. Sign in with your phone number by OTP and pay ₹299.

  2. Step 2

    A dermatologist reads the case

A registered dermatologist on our panel takes the case, asks anything else they need in the chat, and writes the plan.

  3. Step 3

    Plan, prescription, follow-up

What this is, what to use, what to stop, what to test. The prescription is yours to fill with us or anywhere. Ask follow-up questions for 7 days.

What the dermatologist does

The review is a doctor's work, not a questionnaire that picks products.
  • Name the type of hair loss from your photos and history: pattern hair loss, shedding after illness or stress, a scalp condition, or more than one at once.
  • Prescribe what works for that type and strength: the right minoxidil, oral treatment where it is suitable, a medicated shampoo when the scalp is the problem.
  • Tell you which of your current products to stop and which to keep.
  • Order blood tests only when they would change the plan, such as thyroid, iron stores and vitamin D.
  • Set a 12-week review point and tell you what change to expect by then.

Start the review

You will be asked to sign in with your phone number. The dermatologist sees your answers and photos, and nobody else does.

Hair fall review₹299One payment. Prescription when needed. Follow-up for 7 days included.

Not for emergencies. A spreading rash with fever, swelling of the face, or sudden hair loss with pain needs a doctor in person today. Call 108 if someone is seriously unwell.

Questions

Can a dermatologist really judge hair loss from photos?
For most hair loss, yes. The pattern (crown, hairline, parting, patches), the scalp's condition and your history decide the diagnosis. If the doctor needs a closer look or a test, they say so in the review.
Will I get a prescription?
When treatment is needed, yes. The prescription is written in the consult and you can order it from our pharmacy or any other.
I am already on minoxidil. Is this still useful?
That is the most common case. The review checks the strength, how you apply it, whether anything should be added, and whether your hair loss is the kind minoxidil treats at all.
How long before I see a difference?
Hair grows slowly. Most treatments show their first change at 3 to 4 months, and the doctor sets a 12-week review so you are not guessing.
