Finasteride (0.1%w/v) + Minoxidil (10%w/v)
Brintop F 10% Solution is used in the treatment of hair loss.
Brintop F 10% Solution is a combination of two medicines: Minoxidil and Finasteride, which treats hair loss. Minoxidil is a vasodilator, meaning it widens the blood vessels and provides better blood flow to the hair follicles. This prevents hair loss and stimulates re-growth resulting in longer, thicker and increased numbers of hair. Finasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor. It blocks the production of a male hormone in the scalp that stops hair growth, thereby reversing the balding process and preventing further hair loss.
Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Brintop F 10% Lotion. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
