Brivaracetam 100 mg
Treatment of partial-onset (focal) seizures in epilepsy (as monotherapy or adjunct therapy) in adults and adolescents as prescribed by a doctor
Brivaracetam is an antiepileptic medicine that binds selectively to synaptic vesicle protein 2A (SV2A) in the brain. This modulates neurotransmitter release and helps stabilize abnormal electrical activity, thereby reducing seizure frequency.
Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually twice daily at the same times each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow whole with water. Do not stop abruptly without medical advice.
Common side effects of BRIVAONE 100MG TAB may include:
May cause sleepiness, dizziness and impaired coordination—avoid driving or operating machinery until you know the effect. Do not stop suddenly (may worsen seizures). Use with caution in depression, behavioral problems or suicidal thoughts; seek help if mood/behavior changes occur. Dose adjustment may be needed in severe liver impairment. Tell your doctor if you have kidney/liver disease or are taking other anti-seizure medicines.
