Carnipil Tablet

Carnipil Tablet contains Levo-carnitine (500mg).

Used as a nutritional supplement to manage carnitine deficiency and support energy metabolism; may be prescribed in fatigue, muscle weakness, or as an adjunct in certain cardiac/metabolic conditions as advised by a doctor.

Carnitine is required for transport of long‑chain fatty acids into mitochondria for beta‑oxidation and energy production. Supplementation helps restore carnitine levels and improves fatty‑acid utilization in tissues.

Take by mouth as directed by the physician. Swallow tablet with water; may be taken with or without food (taking with food can reduce stomach upset). Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, headache, body odour (fishy smell)

Use under medical supervision, especially in kidney disease or patients on dialysis. Use with caution in patients with seizure disorders (may increase seizure risk in some). If you have thyroid disease or are taking thyroid hormone, consult your doctor. Stop and seek medical help if allergic reactions occur.

Warfarin/other anticoagulants (may affect INR—monitor), thyroid hormone (may reduce effect in some reports)

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
