Amoxicillin 500 mg + Clavulanic Acid 125 mg (as potassium clavulanate)

Uses of Clavison 625MG

Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as acute bacterial sinusitis, otitis media, tonsillitis/pharyngitis, community-acquired pneumonia/bronchitis exacerbation, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections.

How it works

Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis leading to bacterial death. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects amoxicillin from enzymatic breakdown, thereby extending its spectrum against beta-lactamase–producing bacteria.

Directions for use

Tablet for oral use. Take as prescribed by the doctor, preferably at the start of a meal to reduce stomach upset. Swallow whole with water; complete the full course even if you feel better. Dose and duration depend on infection severity and kidney function.
