Clindamycin phosphate 1% w/w (equivalent to clindamycin 1%) gel
Treatment of acne vulgaris (pimples), especially inflammatory acne lesions; helps reduce acne-causing bacteria and inflammation.
Clindamycin is a lincosamide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. In acne, it reduces Cutibacterium acnes load and decreases inflammation, leading to fewer and less inflamed pimples.
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to acne-affected skin as advised by the doctor (commonly once or twice daily). Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nostrils and broken/irritated skin; wash hands after application.

External use only. Do not use if allergic to clindamycin/lincomycin. Prolonged use may cause bacterial resistance. Stop and seek medical advice if severe irritation, rash, or diarrhea occurs (rare risk of antibiotic-associated colitis). Use with caution in patients with history of colitis/IBD. Avoid using with other irritating acne products unless advised.
