Desloratadine (5mg) + Montelukast (10mg)
Sneezing and runny nose due to allergies
Dezlorid M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: desloratadine and montelukast, which treat sneezing and a runny nose caused by allergies. Desloratadine is an antiallergic that blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for a runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dezlorid M Tablet may be taken with or without food.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Dezlorid M Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
