Divalfit 250 Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Take the missed dose of Divalfit ER as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Divalfit ER than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
| Pregnancy | Divalfit 250 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor. |
|---|---|
| Breastfeeding | Divalfit 250 Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. |
| Alcohol | Divalfit 250 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol. |
| Kidney | Divalfit 250 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Divalfit 250 Tablet is recommended. |
| Liver | Divalfit 250 Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor. |
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Divalfit ER. Some combinations can change how Divalfit ER works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Divalfit ER below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
