Ebercos Cream 30 g contains Eberconazole (1% w/w). It belongs to the Imidazole antifungal class of medicines.

How Ebercos Cream 30 g works

Eberconazole is an imidazole antifungal that inhibits ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes by blocking sterol 14-α-demethylase. This damages the fungal membrane and stops fungal growth, helping clear infection and relieve itching and redness.

How to take Ebercos Cream 30 g

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to the affected skin (and a small surrounding margin) as advised by your doctor, usually once or twice daily. Wash hands after application; avoid eyes, mouth, inside nose, and broken skin unless directed. Continue for the full prescribed duration even if symptoms improve earlier.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Ebercos Cream, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose.

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely from skin use; swallowing the preparation may cause stomach upset. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
