Cough relief (especially dry/irritative cough) and soothing of throat irritation associated with common cold/upper respiratory tract irritation.
This cough syrup works by reducing the cough reflex and soothing irritated throat mucosa. It helps decrease the frequency and intensity of coughing, providing symptomatic relief.
Take by mouth using a measuring cup/spoon. Shake well before use. Dose and frequency depend on age and medical advice; may be taken with or without food. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Common side effects of EMCOF SF SYRUP may include:
May cause sleepiness—avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsy. Use with caution in asthma/COPD with excess mucus, liver disease, glaucoma, enlarged prostate/urinary retention, and in elderly patients. Not recommended for young children unless prescribed. If cough persists >7 days, is recurrent, or occurs with fever, rash, or persistent headache, consult a doctor. Do not use with other cough/cold products containing similar ingredients to avoid overdose.
