Ranitidine 150 mg
Treatment and prevention of peptic ulcer (gastric/duodenal), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and heartburn, indigestion/acid-related dyspepsia, gastritis, prevention of stress ulcers and acid aspiration as advised by doctor.
Ranitidine is an H2-receptor antagonist that reduces stomach acid secretion by blocking histamine H2 receptors on gastric parietal cells. Lower acid helps relieve heartburn and allows ulcers/erosions to heal.
Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed. Commonly taken 1–2 times daily; may be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water; avoid taking at the same time as antacids—keep a 1–2 hour gap if needed.
Common side effects of ENZELO 150MG TAB may include:
Use with caution in kidney or liver impairment (dose adjustment may be needed). Seek medical advice if symptoms persist, recur, or if you have alarm symptoms (unexplained weight loss, vomiting blood, black stools, difficulty swallowing). May rarely cause confusion in elderly/seriously ill. Hypersensitivity reactions are possible. Note: Ranitidine has been withdrawn/restricted in many countries due to NDMA impurity concerns; use only if supplied as per current local regulatory guidance and on a doctor’s advice.
