Flugesic-P Tablet

Flugesic-P Tablet is used for pain relief.

In Fever

Flugesic-P brings a raised temperature down by acting on the part of the brain that controls body heat, easing the chills, aches and discomfort that come with a fever.

In Headache

Flugesic-P relieves a headache by blocking the chemical messengers in the brain that signal pain, usually within the hour.

In Body ache

Flugesic-P eases the generalised aching of viral illness, overexertion or fever so you can rest and move more comfortably.

In Mild to moderate pain

Flugesic-P relieves everyday pain such as toothache, period pain and sprains. It is gentle on the stomach, which is why it is usually the first painkiller a doctor suggests.

In Pain

Flugesic-P blocks the chemicals that cause pain at the site of an injury or inflammation, giving relief that is often stronger than paracetamol for pain with swelling.

In Inflammation

Flugesic-P reduces the swelling, redness, heat and stiffness of an inflamed joint or injured tissue, so movement is easier.

Alcohol

Taking Flupirtine+Paracetamol/Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.

Flugesic-P Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

LiverUNSAFE

Flugesic-P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Flugesic-P Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>However, the use of Flugesic-P Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

• Take the lowest dose that works, and leave the stated gap between doses.
• Seek help immediately after a suspected overdose, even if you feel completely well.
• Treatment works best when it is early.
• Use the lowest dose for the shortest period.
• If you need a painkiller regularly, see your doctor rather than continuing on your own.
• Paracetamol is the safer choice for simple fever and headache.
