Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Gamamed Lotion, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely from skin use; swallowing the preparation may cause stomach upset. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Gamamed Lotion is used for the treatment of scabies. While applying the solution, make sure your hands are clean and dry. Always use gloves while applying the lotion, especially when applying to another person. Avoid contact with another person, especially babies after applying the lotion to your body. Do not cover the affected area of the skin with dressing or a bandage after applying Gamamed Lotion. Do not use this lotion within 1 hour of bathing or wet skin. Do not apply Gamamed Lotion near your eyes or on broken and wounded skin. In case of contact with the eyes, immediately wash with water and if needed consult your doctor. Do not apply more than the recommended amount of Gamamed Lotion as it may be harmful.
