How to take Gipce Capsule

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Gipce Capsule may be taken with or without food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Gipce Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Gipce than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Most side effects of Gipce are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

How to store Gipce Capsule

Store Gipce below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.

Your doctor has prescribed Gipce Capsule to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat. Take it while you are sitting or standing, to prevent any throat irritation. Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this medicine. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Discontinue the medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
