How Huchnil P N/S/Drops 0.025% Child works

Xylometazoline is a topical nasal decongestant (alpha-adrenergic agonist) that constricts blood vessels in the nasal mucosa. This reduces swelling and congestion, improving airflow through the nose.

How to take Huchnil P N/S/Drops 0.025% Child

For intranasal use only. Instill the prescribed number of drops into each nostril, usually 2–3 times daily. Use for short duration only (generally not more than 3–5 days) to avoid rebound congestion; follow pediatrician’s advice. Clear the nose before use; keep dropper tip clean and avoid touching the nostril.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

Warnings and precautions

Use caution in hyperthyroidism, hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, glaucoma, enlarged prostate, or if the child is on antidepressants.
