Ketoconazole 2% w/v shampoo
Dandruff (pityriasis capitis), seborrhoeic dermatitis of scalp, fungal infections of scalp caused by Malassezia
Ketoconazole is an imidazole antifungal that inhibits fungal ergosterol synthesis by blocking 14-alpha demethylase. This damages the fungal cell membrane, reducing Malassezia growth and relieving flaking and itching.
For external use only. Wet hair/scalp, apply sufficient shampoo to affected area, lather and leave on for 3–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Typically use 2 times a week for 2–4 weeks for dandruff/seborrhoeic dermatitis, then once weekly or as advised for maintenance. Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin.

For external use only. Avoid eyes; if contact occurs rinse with plenty of water. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling, blistering or allergic reaction occurs. Use with caution on inflamed/broken skin. If symptoms persist or recur frequently, seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
