Amoxicillin + Clavulanic acid + Lactic acid bacillus (strengths not specified)
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as ear, nose & throat infections (sinusitis, tonsillitis, otitis media), lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections.
Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes, protecting amoxicillin from breakdown and extending its spectrum. Lactic acid bacillus is a probiotic that helps restore normal gut flora and may reduce antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
Tablet: take exactly as prescribed, preferably at the start of a meal to reduce stomach upset. Swallow with water; do not skip doses and complete the full course even if you feel better. Dose and duration depend on infection type, severity, age and kidney function.
