Supportive therapy in kidney stone (urolithiasis) and urinary tract discomfort; helps alkalinise urine and may aid stone dissolution/prevention (as per product labeling).
Lithotrips B6 syrup is typically positioned as a urinary alkaliniser and stone-support formula. By increasing urinary pH and citrate availability, it may reduce crystal aggregation and help dissolve/flush certain types of kidney stones; vitamin B6 is often added as nutritional support.
Shake well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth after food, usually 2–3 times daily with plenty of water. Follow physician advice; dosing depends on age/condition.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Lithotrips B6 as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Lithotrips B6 than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Lithotrips B6 are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, electrolyte imbalance, or those on a restricted sodium/potassium diet (depending on formulation). Do not self-medicate for severe flank pain, fever, blood in urine, or recurrent vomiting—seek medical care. Monitor urine pH if advised. If diabetic, check if the syrup contains sugar.
May interact with potassium-sparing diuretics (e.g., spironolactone, eplerenone, amiloride), ACE inhibitors/ARBs (risk of high potassium if formulation contains potassium salts), aluminium-containing antacids (may reduce citrate absorption), other alkalinisers (additive alkalinisation).
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
