How Lupitros Tz works

Lupitros-TZ Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Timolol and Travoprost. Timolol is a beta blocker while Travoprost is a prostaglandin analogue. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

How to take Lupitros Tz

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose of Lupitros-TZ Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Expert advice for Lupitros Tz

To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the medicine or let it touch your eye or any other surface. After applying Lupitros-TZ Eye Drop, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
