Amoxicillin 600 mg + Potassium Clavulanate 42.9 mg per 5 ml (oral suspension)
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as ear, nose & throat infections (sinusitis, tonsillitis, otitis media), lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin & soft tissue infections, and dental infections.
Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis. Clavulanate is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects amoxicillin from breakdown by resistant bacteria, improving effectiveness.
Oral suspension: shake well before each dose. Give the dose exactly as prescribed, preferably at the start of a meal to reduce stomach upset. Reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark as per label; use the measuring spoon/syringe; complete the full course.

Prescription-only antibiotic; do not use for viral infections. Contraindicated in patients with allergy to penicillins/cephalosporins or previous cholestatic jaundice/hepatic dysfunction with amoxicillin-clavulanate. Use with caution in kidney or liver disease; dose adjustment may be needed. Stop and seek medical help if severe allergy (swelling, breathing difficulty), severe skin reactions, or persistent watery/bloody diarrhoea occurs. Can affect liver enzymes; prolonged use may cause superinfection.
