Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Moxiblu-Kt Eye Drops contains Ketorolac (0.5% w/v) + Moxifloxacin (0.5% w/v).
Treatment of Bacterial eye infections
Moxiblu KT Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Ketorolac and Moxifloxacin which treat eye infections. Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the eye. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing.
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Most side effects of Moxiblu-Kt are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Moxiblu-Kt. Some combinations can change how Moxiblu-Kt works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Moxiblu-Kt below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Your doctor has prescribed Moxiblu KT Eye Drop to cure your eye infection and improve your symptoms. Use it twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. If it does, squeeze out two or three drops straightaway onto some tissue and rinse the tip with saltwater. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye. Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up. Eye infections can cause your eyes to become more sensitive to sunlight than usual. Wearing sunglasses may help to prevent this. Along with using Moxiblu KT Eye Drop, give a warm compress to your eyes to get relief from itching and burning sensation. Take care to avoid spreading the infection from one eye to the other, and to other members of your family. Washing your hands regularly (particularly after touching your eyes) and not sharing towels or pillows will help to prevent the infection from spreading.
