N Surgical Mask is used for used as a disposable face mask to help reduce exposure to airborne droplets, dust and splashes; suitable for general hygiene and infection-control practices in non-sterile settings.
Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Acts as a physical barrier over the nose and mouth to trap respiratory droplets released during talking, coughing or sneezing. It also reduces inhalation of larger particles such as dust and helps limit hand-to-face contact.
Wear to cover nose, mouth and chin with a snug fit. Avoid touching the front surface while wearing; if touched, perform hand hygiene. Replace when damp/soiled or after prolonged use; discard after single use as per local waste guidelines.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of N Surgical Mask as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more N Surgical Mask than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of N Surgical Mask are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
